MTV is looking to bring more of its entertainment and lifestyle channels onto the new WWE TV platform.
The new ‘Wrestling Channel’ will be available in all 50 states on the WWE Network and will include content including live, taped, and taped-to-air programming, and a new interactive show ‘Wrestlemania 33: The Ultimate Team.’
The WWE Network will also have an additional dedicated section, the ‘Live Feeds,’ which will bring the latest live events and highlights from the WWE Universe.
The service is scheduled to launch on April 9.
The WWE TV brand has been under constant attack over the last few months, with a number of recent lawsuits over its coverage of the WWE Hall of Fame, which includes WWE Hall-of-Famer Booker T, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair, and former WWE Superstar Ric Flacco.
Last week, a group of former employees at WWE told the court they had been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements with the company because of their claims that WWE mistreated former talent who were fired after allegedly trying to fight for better pay or promotions.
